Jim Spates and Rachael DeLue at the First Annual Arthur Dove Memorial Lecture

Rachael DeLue, Sarofim Professor in American  Art at Princeton University, gave an outstanding lecture, Arthur Dove’s Music Pictures, or, How to Make a Painting of Sound, to a standing room only crowd on Saturday, April 27th, in Geneva, New York.

This event was the start of the campaign to create an art gallery devoted to the legacy of Arthur Dove and functioning as a community art gallery in the Dove Block in downtown Geneva.
